“Stop Snoring Now”
By Dr Joel Weinberg
Why do we snore?
Almost everyone snores occasionally, while around 1 in 3 people worldwide snore regularly.
Snoring usually occurs when the airway at the back of the throat constricts, causing air to be inhaled at an increased speed and pressure. During sleep, the bottom jaw and tongue may fall back to the rear of the throat. This, along with the soft tissue (tonsils, soft palate and uvula) vibrates, creating the antisocial and debilitating sound of snoring.
While snoring can be harmless, it may also be a symptom of Sleep Apnoea, a condition where the sufferer periodically stops breathing during sleep, for a few seconds each time. Sleep Apnoea occurs when the airway becomes completely blocked, causing the sufferer to wake briefly. They may not be aware of this, but the quality of their sleep can be severely affected.
The benefits of not snoring
These are the benefits you get from no longer snoring:

- Less daytime sleepiness and the irresistible urge to nap
- No choking sensation during sleep
- Increased blood flow and oxygen levels
- Increased virility
- Not waking feeling thirsty from a dry mouth and throat
- A peaceful night's sleep for your partner
- Waking up feeling more rested and energetic
The solution
The TheraSnore is the world's leading oral product to stop snoring, and well over one million have been fitted in the world to date. It is a small, comfortable mouth piece which is fitted by a dentist and is worn during sleep.
The TheraSnore is painless and causes no permanent changes to your body. It is one of the least expensive and most successful medical treatments to stop snoring.
How it works
The upper tray of the appliance fits securely over your upper teeth, while the bottom has a protrusion tray to prevent the tongue and jaw from dropping back into the airway and blocking it. The lower jaw is still free to move. This simple device allows the upper airway to remain open and permits you to breathe more easily and naturally while sleeping.
