“A Smile Makeover”
By Dr Joel Weinberg
Dental bonding
For a smile that needs a little more than whitening, we offer dental bonding. Clients with teeth that are badly discoloured or have minor cracks and chips will be pleased with this quick, simple treatment.
We apply a thin coat of liquid composite resin (tooth enamel) to cover the stains and seal the cracks. We can even sculpt the material as it hardens, to fill in small chips. We carefully match our resin to your natural tooth colour, so the dental bonding you experience is virtually undetectable to others.
Cerinate® Lumineers
Porcelain dental veneers
Cerinate® Lumineers porcelain dental veneers can straighten, reshape, and whiten the appearance of your smile within two easy visits. Lumineers are thin, custom crafted porcelain shells, which are bonded seamlessly to the front of each tooth to transform your smile.
Since Cerinate® Lumineers porcelain dental veneers are created according to individual specifications, you and your dentist can select the colour, shape, and smile design that best suits you. The procedure is painless and, with proper care, your Cerinate® Lumineers will last up to 20 years!
da Vinci veneers
Porcelain dental veneers
Porcelain veneers can help correct uneven, crooked, or badly discoloured teeth, and, for some clients, provide an alternative to orthodontics.
We also use da Vinci veneers from the famous da Vinci Studios in California to give our clients the kind of beautiful smiles seen on the US shows Extreme Makeover and The Swan.
In preparation for your new porcelain dental veneers, on your first visit to our clinic we will buff the front surfaces of your teeth—up to about half a millimeter—to make room for the slight extra thickness of the veneers. We will then make moulds of your teeth to be sent to a da Vinci certified lab for the creation of your customized veneers.
When you return for the placement of your porcelain da Vinci dental veneers we will first position them with a temporary adhesive solution to verify alignment and colour matching. Once you are satisfied, a permanent adhesive will be used to fix the veneers firmly in place. During this process, if needed, colour can be added to the adhesive to adjust the final colour of the veneers.
