Dr Ward Waardenburg

Dr Waardenburg completed his medical studies in 1999. He specialised for 3 years in General Practice/Family Medicine at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

He has extra experience in neurology, cardiology, hypertension (high blood pressure), lung diseases such as asthma and allergies, orthopaedics, skin diseases and paediatrics. He often returns to the Netherlands to work in ER departments, and extend his knowledge of different illnesses.

He is a qualified and registered specialist in family medicine, who speaks English, Dutch, German, French and Spanish.

When not at work he like to spend time with his family or on the tennis court—which he loves!

Other medical services

As well as treating people with illnesses, Dr Waardenburg offers medical checks and certificates for school and sports, ‘well man’ and ‘well woman’ check-ups, together with laboratory tests of all kinds.

He will make home visits in Calpe and the Jalón valley.

At Calpe Dental

Dr Waardenburg sees patients by appointment 4 mornings a week: on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. His first appointment is at 10:20; he continues to see patients until the early afternoon.
